City Tour Santa Marta. Tour in a private air-conditioned vehicle and on foot to tour the historic center of Santa Marta that hides a historical richness, architectural jewels and interesting places such as old houses, parks and colonial squares. It was declared a National Monument in 1963. Emblematic places that will be visited: The Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino was the home of Simón Bolívar. The Monument of the famous Colombian soccer player Pibe Valderrama, on the outskirts of the Eduardo Santos Stadium, the Taganga Viewpoint and the incredible colonial-style Cathedral among others. It is a must to take a photo at the Cathedral of Santa Marta since it is the oldest church in the country and is an emblem of the city for its Spanish colonial architecture. There are the ashes of our liberator Simón Bolívar in 1830. In the Gold Museum you will appreciate the exhibition of the Anthropological and Ethnological Museum of the Tayrona Culture. Their beliefs, mythologies, handicrafts and goldsmith pieces are exhibited in this place. To know and explore the legacy of the millenary culture of the Tayrona people.
