This adventure in the Colombian rainforest will take us into the famous river of the 7 colors, the most beautiful river in Colombia, full of the dazzling plant “Macarena clavijera” an endemic aquatic plant that in contact with the sun’s rays ‘paints’ beautiful colors to Caño Cristales. The trip itself is already impressive, because on your way through the Guayabero River you will see some exotic animals, such as turtles, birds, monkeys and maybe even a babilla. La Macarena is full of warm and welcoming people, who for a long time were isolated due to the armed conflict. Today they are all organized in associations fully committed to provide the best service and work as a community to make your experience unforgettable on this 7 colors expedition. During the trip you will visit incredible sites and live unique experiences: Visit to Caño Cristales (Hike and nature to discover the famous river of colors). Monkey watching. Visit to Caño Cristalitos (magical and natural place, a must-see of the region). Serenade in the river (Traditional music of the region). City of stone (Walk to a simply fantastic world of stone). Cocoa workshop. Horseback riding to Caño Piedras. Note for the expedition of the 7 colors: If the physical condition does not allow long walks or horseback riding could be replaced by an additional day in Caño Cristales ** If the return flight is with ‘Satena’ on a Wednesday or Friday, the last day is a rest day before the flight.
